Teaching kids to make wealth out of waste

#TG LIFE

Thirty five children from Margao and Vasco used waste material to create little artistic craft items recently with the help of members of  The Healers Organisation which is based in Margao, along with a few interns from Chowgule College. The children  created visually aesthetically and pretty designs out of waste material such as discarded CD’s, plastic bottles, metal caps, paper cups, feathers and newspapers. The activity culminated with a summer camp held last week. To showcase what the children had done, the organisation later  organised a Summer sale cum craft display at B.M hall, Borda which was met with enthusiastic response.
