in his poignant speech deputy speaker of the Goa Legislative Assemble Michael Lobo urged the students of Fr Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar to be dreamers and work hard to realise their dreams into reality. Speaking as the chief guest at the Kalasadhak 2019 where in the College honoured Tomazinho Cardozo for his lifetime contribution to Konkani and Konkani Culture particularly Tiatr, he captivated the young minds. He also congratulated Tomazinho Cardozo on being honoured with the prestigious Kalasadhak Samman 2019 and praised his selfless endeavours in the promotion of Goan Art and Culture.
While thanking the management of Fr Agnel College of Arts & Commerce for honouring him, Tomazinho Cardozo also asked the students to focus on positivity in life and face the challenges in their path for achieving their goals. Later he was interviewed by Joy Fernandes with respect to his contribution to Tiatr in particular. The students also put forth their questions to Shri Cardozo with respect to the subject as Tiatr is part of the U G Konkani syllabus.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Principal Dr Savio P Falleiro and head of Konkani Department Rajeshree Sail. Fr Jose Silveira of TSKK made a audio-visual presentation on Tomazinho Cardozo. The event was organised in collaboration with tiatrworld.com and Vauradeancho Ixtt and was largely attended by the students and staff of Fr Agnel College, Pilar besides students from other institutions.
