Kesha has revealed she was offered freedom from her Sony contract if she agreed to lie about her alleged abuse at the hands of mentor and producer Dr. Luke. The pop star took to Instagram and gave fans an update on her ongoing legal drama with the hitmaker. Alongside a selfie of herself, she wrote: "So. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. "I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again." Kesha filed suit against Dr. Luke in 2013, claiming her physically and emotionally abused her. The producer has denied her allegations and countersued the star and her mother.
