All eyes are focused on Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat and Goa Forward Chief Vijaibab Sardesai ahead of the election to the Margao Municipal Council Chairperson on May 27, but for a different reason. Both should not encounter any issue over getting their nominee elected as the MMC Chief after having won 17 seats in the 25-member civic body under the Margao Civic Alliance (MCA) banner. The bigger question, however, remains, unanswered -- whether the duo will form the council under the Congress- Goa Forward banner or MCA headed by Digambar Kamat and Vijai Sardesai. Congress Chief Girishbab Chodankar may have an answer.
