Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai’s ruling group in the Margao Municipal Council may have bulldozed its way to approve the bio-methanation plants. Sardesai, however, appeared confused about how Leader of Opposition Digambarbab Kamat’s foot soldiers have left no stone unturned to block him in the civic body. Questions are raised in local political circles over the hot and cold relationship between the Goa Forward chief and the Opposition leader. With the Congress repeatedly cold-shouldering his offer for mahagathbandhan, the developments in the Margao civic body have left Vijaibab to wonder whether the Congress has other plans in 2022 as well.
