It was a week when Aam Aadmi Party Benaulim MLA Venzybab’s plan to rope in Delhi Jal Board’s consultant to take up river Sal rejuvenation met with opposition from a different quarter. Goa Forward Party chief Vijaibab Sardesai has red-flagged the AAP MLA’s plan to get the consultant from Delhi ruled by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal. Guess the reasons cited by Vijaibab behind his opposition to the Delhi consultant. He says local issues need local solutions and has batted for Goa’s waterman Rajendrabab Kerkar to resolve issues plaguing river Sal. Is that the sole reason why Vijaibab does not favour the Delhi consultant or is there something more than meets the eye? Wait and watch.
