BJP leader Damubab Naik seemed to have made a comeback in the scheme of things in the Margao Municipal Council following a change in guard. Perhaps for the first time in over a decade and a half, the former MLA is now part of the discussions with party-backed City Fathers ruling the civic body. In the past, it was only Diggu and his Fatorda counterpart Vijaibab Sardesai who had a stranglehold over the civic body, before the duo parted ways after the mid-September political developments.
