Strange it may sound, but true that some of the supporters of flamboyant Mickky Pacheco in Benaulim were batting for TMC candidate Churchill Alemao in the election. With Mickky returning to his home constituency Nuvem after being denied the Congress ticket, his supporters seem to have finally cast their vote for the TMC. Interesting, isn’t it?

Scribes were taken aback when TMC MLA Churchill Alemao was trying to find out the prospects of Aam Aadmi Party candidates elsewhere in Salcete. For a moment, the media team was left to wonder whether Churchill was feeling the heat along Saxtti coastal belt from AAP’s Capt Venzy Viegas. A confident-looking Churchill, however, explained to the media that he is already through in Benaulim, but was hoping AAP candidates do not win a single seat in the State.
