It was a week when former Minister Avertanbab Furtado was in the news, but for a different reason. He launched the Furtado fuel centre in a grand manner. And, the presence of political figures, including Deputy Chief Minister Babu Kavlekar, Ministers and MLAs, both ruling and opposition, left many a guest to observe whether the goalkeeper-turned-politician has virtually launched his campaign for the 2022 battle. Avertanbab’s former colleagues from Saxttidom, Caitubab and Benjaminbab were conspicuous by their presence. And, so were his friends from Saxttidom and outside, including Goa Forward Chief Vijaibab Sardesai. Is anything cooking?
