As curtains down on Year 2022, with people looking forward to the New Year to ring in good news, politicians and political parties must be gearing up for the 2024 Lok Sabha battle. The New Year is being considered as the election year though the Lok Sabha poll is around 16 months away. While the saffron brigade is expected to go all out to wrest the South Goa seat from the Congress, the focus is not only centred on the Congress over the party candidate, but also on the non-BJP parties, which had played spoilsport to the Congress in the 2022 Assembly polls.
