Fr Agnel Youth Club Paroda made short work of Parish Youth Nuvem 4-1 and moved into the quarterfinals of the Our Lady of Fatima Cup 2022 organised by Dicarpale SC at Dicarpale ground on Tuesday.
Paroda from the word go went on all guns blazing at Nuvem and Selton Fernandes fired from close range and netted the first goal of the match in the 4th minute. Twelve minutes later Fredrick Fernandes too added his name on the score sheet and made it 2-0 for Paroda and for Nuvem, Jayson Dias pulled a goal back in the 24th minute (2-1).
Later in the second half, Paroda’s key players Selton Fernandes and Fedrick Fernandes were on the upfront moves, with good ball possession which yielded more results when Selton Fernandes supplied an accurate pass to Cyril Dias (3-1) for Paroda in the 49th minute. Joel Furtado netted for Paroda in the 62nd minute (4-1).
