Saseshwar Cricketers Sawanwada Mayem emerged runners-up at the All Goa Panchayat Ward-wise Light Ball Cricket Tournament in Aldona. Saseshwar Cricketers’ Vishal Kauthankar was awarded the Best Batsman of the tournament. Team members include Akshay Ghadi (Captain), Swapnil Kinalkar, Sarvesh Ghadi, Ashish Ghadi, Raj Kedar, Pranesh Hoble, Vishal Kauthankar, Nagesh Parsekar, Vishwajit Chodankar and Saroj Mandrekar with Shailesh Chodankar as President.
St Anthony SC ease past Varca SC 3-0
MARGAO: St Anthony SC Assolda routed Varca Sports Club 3-0 and moved into the semifinal of the 2nd Macazana Panchayat Cup organised by Macazana Welfare Club at Macazana Panchayat Ground on Tuesday. St Anthony SC Assolda netted a goal each through Succor Fernandes, Cajiton Fernandes and Sidney Vaz in the 14th, 23rd and 56th minutes respectively. The Man Of The Match award was presented to Cajiton Fernandes of St Anthony SC.
