Salcete Stallions beat Priority Titans by four wickets with three overs to spare in the Desserts n More Sarsangan Super Series Cricket at Arlem Cricket Ground.

Priority Titans, opting to bat first, began cautiously with Amod Borkar contributing 53 runs and Swapnil Nachinolkar adding 24, forming a steady partnership of 52 runs in 8.3 overs. Captain Aditya Prabhugaonkar joined forces with Borkar, contributing 21 runs and collaborating for a 57-run stand in just 32 balls.

However, the Stallions' resurgence led by skipper Sahish Mahambrey proved pivotal, as they claimed 6 wickets in a mere 19 balls, restricting the Titans from a promising 114-2 to a precarious 131-8. Despite a late surge from Dinesh Pai, who scored an unbeaten 15, the Titans concluded their innings at 149-8 in 20 overs.

Sahish Mahambrey and Siddhant Kune emerged as the standout bowlers for the Stallions, securing 2 wickets each, with support from Pratap Prabhugaonkar, Gaurish Agni, and Saeesh Prabhudesai.

In response, Salcete Stallions made an explosive chase, with Durgesh Prabhugaonkar seizing the opportunity after surviving a dropped chance to smash a blistering 52 runs off just 19 balls, including 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. Assisted by Atchut Naik Dalal's 22 runs, the Stallions raced to a solid opening partnership of 65 runs in 5.4 overs.

Despite a brief spell of resistance from Venkatesh Salelkar, who claimed 2 wickets, the Stallions maintained control with contributions from Saaiel Kossambe (23) and Samprabh Phaldesai (13), ensuring victory with three overs to spare.

Siddhant Kunde's stellar bowling performance earned him the Desserts n More Man of the Match award and the Estilo Moderno Realty Man of the Match trophy, accompanied by a cash prize of Rs 2,000.

In the second match of the day, Ultracon Madgaon Royals overpowered Vimson Panjim Powerplay by 94 runs.

Electing to bat first, the Royals showcased a dominant batting display, amassing a formidable total of 193-6 in 20 overs, propelled by stellar performances from Aditya Dalal (36), Damodar Pai Patnekar (38), Kartik Hattangadi (41), and Akhil Nadkarni (37).

In response, Vimson Panjim Powerplay faltered, managing only 99 runs before being bowled out in 14.5 overs. Shaunit Sawardekar's outstanding bowling figures of 3-9 led the Royals to their comprehensive victory, earning Akhil Nadkarni the Man of the Match accolade.

The Sarsangan Super Series matches will resume on February 25 after a two-week break.
