The Goan team St Anthony Boy’s emerged runners-up in the finals of the first Young Conservatives Community Cup held in the UK on Saturday. The Goan team lost on penalties 5-4 against International Football Club (IFC). At regular time the match was drawn 2-2. The Goan squad - Tyson Caiado (Goalkeeper), Clyson Pereira (Captain) and Estevan Mendes, Shawyn Fernandes, Edwin Lucas, Alfex D’Souza, Selwyn Rodrigues, Jimmy Gouveia, George Braganza, Carlos Almeida - did a wonderful job on the field. On behalf of the team, the price was received by Young Conservatives Officer Floyd Dias do Rosario and Sai Karthik organised this event which was a great success.
