Impact Gym & Fitness owner Somesh Velguekar, along with Pravin Dabholkar, will organise the 1st All Goa Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship at Anjuna on March 10.
The event will be conducted by Goa Bodybuilding and Fitness Association as per the rules and regulations of Indian Body Builders Federation. There will be six weight categories in men's bodybuilding: 55kg, 60kg, 65kg 70kg 75kg and above 75kg. There will be one open category for Sports Physique Athletes.
Somesh said that there will be cash award of ` 1,00,000 to be awarded to the Champion of champions, which will be given for the first time in Goa. In groups: 1st place winner will be awarded ` 11,000, 2nd place ` 7,000, 3rd place ` 5,000, 4th place ` 4,000 and 5th place ` 3, 000. Best poser will be richer by ` 7,000- and the most improved bodybuilder will pocket ` 7,000.
