MARGAO: CRC Chinchinim advanced to the next round of the 5th Betalbatim Villagers Cup 2026 with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over United Club of Utorda in the All Goa Inter-Village Football Tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club.
Frankie Olivera starred for Chinchinim, scoring both goals to guide his side to a deserved win. United Club of Utorda kept the contest alive through Lenny Vaz, whose strike reduced the deficit, but they were unable to find a late equaliser.
The match was played at a brisk tempo, with both teams creating several chances in an entertaining encounter. Chinchinim capitalised on their opportunities through Olivera's clinical finishing, while Utorda responded with determined attacking play after Vaz found the net.
