MARGAO: Dramapur Sports Club moved into the semi finals of 25th All Goa Our Lady of Merces 8-a-side inter village football tournament after defeating Candolim 3-2, organised by Sirlim Sports Club, at Chinchinim Church ground.
Both the teams playing attacking football but Dramapur had a upper hand. Ashely Fernandes of Candolim put his team into the lead in 14th minute. A couple of minute later, Chadel Fernandes levelled the score with a beautiful curling free-kick giving no chance to rival keeper. Senoy Oliveira missed two open chances just the rival keeper Krupesh to beat. At halftime both were draw 1 goal each.
Second half, Chadel scored his brace in 32nd minute and put Dramapur into lead score 2-1. In the 35th minute, Anuj of Candolim was shown yellow pulling. Senoy made it 3-2 in 47th minute in favour of Dramapur. In the 52nd minute, Melvin Lobo scored for Candolim score 2-3. Dramapur Sport Club won the match 3-2 defeated Candolim Sports Club.
