Expendables, Margao routed Cool Guys, Vasco 5 -1 in the finals of the First All Goa Futsal Tournament organised by Mangor Sports Club, Vasco, under the aegis of the Goa Futsal Association at Manuel Godinho hall premises at Mangor, Vasco.   
In the semi-finals, Cool Guys defeated Holy Spirit Boys, Margao 2-0, while Expendables beat Limon FC 4- 1.   
The Chief Guest, Lion Agnelo Alcasoas, former GFA secretary, in his address congratulated the teams for their splendid performance and mastery of this new form of football. Wilson Godinho, a businessman, was the guest of honour.
The fast-paced 5-a-side 30-minute game was witnessed by a large crowd with 20 teams from all over Goa taking part with a few national and international players from Goa seen in action. The teams were divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each. Benjamin Silva, President of Goa Futsal Association, congratulated the Mangor Sports Club for the well-organised tournament.   
The winners and runners-up received a trophy and a cash award of Rs.40,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively. Various individual prizes were also awarded. The president of the club, Orson Rodrigues, welcomed the gathering. Treasurer Edwin Pereira proposed a vote of thanks.

GFDC Rising Stars League concludes

The fourth edition of GFDC Rising Stars Inter Centre League concluded on Sunday at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim. GFDC Arambol won the U-10 boys title, GFDC Khandepar claimed the U-13 boys trophy, while GFDC Dona Paula emerged as the winners in the U-13 girls finals.

In U-13 girls, the Dona Paula team was powered by  Karen Estrocio’s strike as they beat GFDC Collem 1-0.
