GFA Third Div in Salcete from Sept 9

Soccer enthusiasts in the Salcete Zone will have some action to look forward to when the GFA'S Third Division League 2017-18 kicks off on September 9 at Village Panchayat ground, Raia, DYSA Ground, Curtorim and St John the Baptist Dando, ground, Benaulim.

The teams will be divided into four groups while Group B venue is yet to be decided. The Group A comprises of Arlem Youth Association, Our Lady of Gloria Sports Club, Raia Sporting Club, Raitura Sports Club, Shiroda Youth Club, Socio Cultural Club, Loutolim and St Sebastiao Youth Club, Fatorda. These matches will be played at Panchayat ground, Raia.
Group C will feature Carmona Sports Club, Dando Boys Club, Benaulim, St Anthony's Club, Colva, St Rock's Youth Club, Margao Sports Club, United Club of Benaulim and United Boys of Dando, Colva. The matches in the group will be played at St John the Baptist Dando ground, Benaulim.
Chandor Club, Fr Agnel Youth Sports Club, Paroda, Guirdolim Club, Maina Sports Club, Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club, St Anthony's Sports Club, Assolda and Uguem Rising Club are in Group D. These matches will be played at DYSA ground, Curtorim.

Assagao Union down St Clara HS

Assagao Union High School, Assagao, Shree Ganesh High School, Ganeshpuri Mapusa, Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, GS Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa and St Joseph High School, Arpora moved into the next round of the Bardez Taluka Under-14 boys football tournament played at Assonora Sports Complex.
