Dr K B Hedgewar High School, Cujira-Bambolim emerged champions in the Under-17 girls' category of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA)-organised Taluka-Level Sepak Takraw Tournament held in Tiswadi. The title-winning team comprised Arya Rajiv Naik (captain), Vanshika Shivaji Bhaip, Anaaya Prajal Mainkar, Prapti Ganesh Shetkar and Veda Dinesh Samant. The team was guided by physical education teacher Anand B Kerkar.
