Panaji: The Indian Super League (ISL) has revealed the schedule for the highly anticipated 2023-24 season final and playoffs, set to commence later this month. The season final is scheduled to take place on May 4, with the playoffs kicking off on April 19 with knockout matches, followed by the semi-finals in a home and away format.
Format:
The top two teams at the conclusion of the league stage will secure direct qualification for the semi-finals. Meanwhile, teams finishing third to sixth place will engage in single-leg playoffs in a knockout format to determine the other two semi-finalists.
Playoffs Schedule:
Knockouts - April 19 and April 20
Semi-finals (1st leg) - April 23 and April 24
Semi-finals (2nd leg) - April 28 and April 29
Final - May 4
The 2023-24 season of the Indian Super League has been marked by intense competition, with Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan SG emerging as strong contenders for the league title. The list of six playoff teams has been finalized, with Chennaiyin FC securing their spot following East Bengal FC's defeat to Punjab FC on Wednesday. Joining them in the playoffs are Odisha FC, FC Goa, and Kerala Blasters FC, who had already secured their berths earlier in the season.
The venue for the final match is yet to be announced.
