Joseph Boys Uguem emerged winners at the 2nd edition of 7-A-Side Football Tournament organised by Chuncky Squads Sanguem in memory of late Vinson Vincent Carvalho and played at Government Sports Complex Sanguem on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Miracles.
In the finals, Joseph Boys Uguem defeated Zico Boys Verna in the tie breaker after the score read 0-0 during the regulation time.
The winners were awarded cash prize of Rs 55555/- and a trophy while the runners up were awarded 33333/- plus trophy.
The prizes were distributed at the hands of social worker Jervis Fernandes, Mancy Navarro, Mariani Navarro, Anderson D’Souza and others.
