The action kicked off with Joel Furtado of OL of Gloria SC finding the back of the net in the 19th minute, setting the tone for an eventful contest. However, United Youth Club of Bogmalo quickly responded, as Sherwin Abranches leveled the score in the 23rd minute, injecting renewed energy into the match.
Not to be outdone, OL of Gloria SC continued to push forward, with Danny Fernandes proving to be a formidable force. Fernandes showcased his scoring ability with goals in the 39th and 82nd minutes, putting his team firmly in control of the game.
The match reached its climax in the final minutes, as Joel Furtado of OL of Gloria SC sealed his outstanding performance with goals in the 87th and 90+1 minutes, securing a well-deserved victory for his team.
U-15 Div II South District playoffs: CAC Cansaulim showcased their dominance by securing a resounding 5-0 victory over Sirlim Sports Club at the Don Bosco Oratory ground in Fatorda.
From the opening whistle, Cansaulim asserted control, displaying exceptional teamwork and a relentless attacking approach that proved too much for Sirlim’s defence.
In another match, Salcete FC triumphed over Vasco United FC with an impressive 4-0 win at the Benaulim ground. Salcete FC’s cohesive play and disciplined approach allowed them to control the game from start to finish, while Vasco United FC struggled to breach their solid defence.
