SC Virabhat moved into the next round of the Jose & Franky Memorial football tournament trouncing Paldem SC 6-2 at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim.
Virabhat scored the first goal through Leewan Castanha in the 10th minute, 1-0. Leewan then scored two more goals, netting in the 15th and 20th minutes to complete his hat-trick. Virabhat scored the fourth goal through Lourdes Fernandes in the 25th minute to make it 4-0 in the first half.
In the second half, Paldem scored one goal through Alton in the 35th minute to make it 1-4. Virabhat scored the fifth goal through Vivon Fernandes, 5-1 before Paldem reduced the goal margin through Kevin, 2-5. Leewan Castanha scored his fourth goal to make it 6-2 and seal a comprehensive win. Leewan was named as the Man of the match.
