Nigerian striker Odafa Okolie scored a winner in the dying minutes for Sporting Clube after Newton Azavedo's 58th-minute goal had cancelled out Marcus Mascarenhas' first half opener

Sporting Clube de Goa surged past Tuff Laxmi Prasad Sports Club in a round seven match of the Goa Professional League at Duler Stadium, Mapusa on Saturday.
In the first half hour, the Flaming Oranje made 10 attempts on Laxmi Prasad goal but goalkeeper Siddhesh Morje made some superb saves to deny Sporting lads. First, the goalkeeper made a diving save to deny Odafa Okolie and, two minutes later, again prevented the Nigerian striker from getting the first goal. The Flaming Oranje broke the deadlock in the 37th minute with through Marcus Mascarenhas.
Post resumption, Laxmi Prasad tried hard to create openings but failed to get a move on in the final third. With the play nearing the hour mark, substitute Newton Azavedo found the equaliser for Laxmi Prasad. Ten minutes later Sporting attacker Ndidi Chukwuma was thwarted by Siddhesh. Odafa found the winner for Sporting three minutes before the referee blew the final whistle.
