Early in the first half Kenrick Menezes gave the lead to Guirim school while Ryan Dias doubled the lead with a fine shot. St Joseph's Rushank Halarnkar succeeded in reducing the margin by one goal in the second half.
For the third place match, St Francis Xavier High School, Siolim defeated St Anthony's High School, Duler 4-3 via tie-breaker after both the teams were levelled at 2-2 at the end of regular time. Hrishikesh Shirodkar scored a brace while Sanket Patil's brace helped Duler school to equalise. In the tie-breaker only Pratik Kale converted for Duler school while Rishikesh Shirodkar and Brandon F converted for SFX High School, Siolim. Vallabh Mhambrey, ex-coach was the chief guest while Rodney Pereira, Headmaster of St Joseph's High School Arpora, Prem Dias, former footballer and Anant Sawal, Bardez TSO were present for distribution of
certificates.

St Anthony's High School Monte de Guirim won the Bardez Taluka under 14 boys football tournament by defeating St Joseph's High School, Arpora in the finals GFA's Duler grounds, Wednesday.
