Stamina beat Young Star of Moula by 51 runs in the final of Goa Cricket Association Tiswadi zone ‘B Division’ at Goa Cricket Association academy ground, Porvorim.
Batting first, Stamina put up a total of 207/6 in 38 overs. Rupesh Sarvankar top-scored with 54 runs, while Mohit Redkar made 39 runs. Pramod Naik (38), Gauresh Kambli (34) and Udit Yadav (17) also contributed important runs.
For Moula, Rajesh Tukadiya picked up 4 wickets while Sanjay Naik and Gautham Nandrekar took one wicket each.
Young star of Moula in reply, were all out for 156 runs in 32.5 overs. Kartik Kumar was the main run-getter, with 54 runs to his name. Rajesh Madiwal (35) and Shubham Kamat (28) made valuable contributions but Moula failed to make a match of it.
Stamina bowlers led by Mahesh Bhaidkar (4/46), Udit Yadav (2/1), Mohit Redkar (2/17) and Shadab Khan (1/37) were outstanding.
