The State Taekwondo team which will represent Goa at the 37th Kyorugi & 10th Poomsae Senior (Male and Female) National
Taekwondo Championship from November 1-4 at JN Indoor Stadium, Cuttak,
Odisha was announced
recently.
The Taekwondo senior players were given warm welcome by Mahesh Rivonkar, program officer,
Sports Authority of Goa at a farewell function held at
PJN Indoor Stadium,
Fatorda.
These players will represent Goa State team at the forthcoming National Games scheduled to be held in Goa from March-April, 2019.
The president of Taekwondo Association of Goa Adv. RD Mangueshkar wished the players success and
expected the players to put in an excellent performance at the Odisha Nationals, which will help Goa to get more medals at the upcoming National Games.
The officials who will accompany the team are
Sunil Sharma, Deepak Rivonkar as coaches and Rajan Naik and Bindiya Borkar as managers respectively.
