Augustias Sporting Club Pomburpa made short work of Guardian Angel Sports Club Curchorem 3-1 to move into the semifinals of the 23rd Vagator Soccer 2023 organised by Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club, at Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club Ground, on Thursday.
Augustias Sporting took the lead in the 24th minute as Anford Fernandes' shot was pushed away by Guardian Angel goalkeeper Rasal Fernandes but Raju Padeshi was in the right place to score on the rebound.
In the 45th minute, Augustias Sporting doubled their lead with a through ball from Anthony Fernandes to Anford Fernandes whose first-time shot was saved by Guardian Angel goalkeeper Rasal Fernandes but he got another opportunity to score and he took his chance.
In the 53rd minute, Guardian Angel SC pulled one back as Peter Carvalho scored from a corner.
