Achi Boys Cuncolim beat Isla Margarita 4-1 to win the 2nd All Goa 7-a-side football tournament organised in memory of late Luke D'Costa by Friends Circle of AVCC Boys.
Individual prizes: Best goalkeeper - Deva (Isla Margarita), Highest Goal Scorer - Aston (Achi Boys), Most Disciplined Team - Desmond (Kicks), Best Defender - Stalin (Achi Boys). MLA Yuri Alemao was the chief guest while Leona D'Costa was the guest of honour. Filomena Fernandes, Lucia Baptista, Denis Baptista and Shervita Fernandes were the guest invitees.
Telaulim Boys move into semifinals
Telaulim Boys defeated Ghatamorod Boys by a solitary goal to march into the semifinals of the Navelim Villagers Union Trophy football tournament at Rosary ground, Navelim. Noah Louis scored the winning goal for Telaulim Boys.
