Bardez Veterans beat Verna Veterans 4-3 via tiebreaker and sailed into the final of the 1st All Goa Veterans Football Tournament 2022/23 at PHQ, ground, Panaji on Tuesday. Mathew Gonsalves of Bardez Veterans, missed a chance to score in the 8th minute while Vincent Colaco of Verna Veterans missed an opportunity in the 37th minute. In the tiebreaker, Bardez Veterans proved to be better shooters. Chief guest DySP (SB) Rupendra Shetgaokar gave away the Man Of The Match award to Mathew Gonsalves of Bardez Veterans, a special prize to the oldest player of the losing side to Vincent Colaco and a momento to the losing team Verna Veterans.
