CRC Chinchinim humbled Chandor Sport Club 4-1 and moved into the semifinal of the 23rd All Goa Our Lady of Merces 8-a-side Inter Village Tournament 2022 organised by Sirlim Sport Club and played at Our Lady of Hope Church Ground, Chinchinim. The match started on an attacking note with both the teams testing the rivals keepers. In the 7th minute, Moises D’Sa put Chandor in the lead. In the 19th minute, Hayden of CRC levelled the score 1-1. Chadel scored for CRC’s second goal with a powerful left footer. CRC led 2-1 at half time. After change over CRC went on attacking from word go and were successful in the 41st minute through Shario Gomes making it 3-1. Nigel Fernandes made it 4-1 for CRC in the 62nd minute but Chandor with never give up attitude raided CRC goal but goalkeeper Sunny was equally good.
