The Executive Committee of Goa Bodybuilding and Fitness Association along with the bodybuilders who excelled in the recently held South Asian Bodybuilding and Sports Physique Championship 2023 in Maldives on Tuesday met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Secretariat, Porvorim. Sumit Naik, Gauresh Kinlekar and Vijay Sutar made Goa and India proud with their extraordinary performance. Sumit Naik and Gauresh Kinlekar won Bronze while Vijay Sutar achieved fourth place. The Chief Minister congratulated the bodybuilders and wished them good luck in their future endeavours. Goa Bodybuilding & Fitness Association Chief Patron, former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat also accompanied the victorious bodybuilders.

MARGAOThe 32nd Super Soccer football tournament in memory of late Joao Francis Fernandes organised by United Boys of Dando Colva will commence on July 13. The winners will be awarded Rs 50,000 and the winner's trophy and the runners-up will be awarded Rs 40,000 and a trophy.
