In the Khelo Under-15 Women's Football Tournament at Sinquetim Sports Complex, Navelim, Compassion FC secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Dunes Sports Club on Sunday. Moncy Vaz and Cia Colaco each scored two goals to lead Compassion FC to victory.
From the outset, Compassion FC dominated the game, with Moncy Vaz opening the scoring just 2 minutes into the match. Cia Colaco joined the action, adding her name to the scoresheet with a goal in the 25th minute before scoring another to make it 3-0. Continuing their dominance in the second half, Compassion FC maintained control, with Moncy securing her brace with another goal in the 54th minute.
In another match, Union of Chinchinim Villagers delivered a commanding performance, defeating Vintage 73 Sports Club 12-0. Vailana Fernandes and Acra Fernandes led the scoring with five goals each, while Nhea Verlekar and Alina Peixtio also contributed goals for the victorious team.
