MAPUSA : Kick-starting the hotmixing work of a long pending and dilapidated road in Camarcazan-Acoi, Aldona MLA Carlos Ferreira announced the sanctioning and imminent commencement of several major development projects worth crores of rupees in the constituency.
Ferreira underscored the urgent need for this infrastructure upgrade, citing numerous complaints and accidents due to the road’s deteriorated condition, particularly during monsoons.
The tarring work costing Rs 1.49 crore will span from the Acoi forest checkpost to the opening entry point of the Camarcazan service road at the national highway.
