Dramapur Sports Club defeated Uguem Rising Club 2-1 and moved into the quarterfinal of the Holy Cross Inter-village Football Tournament 2023 held at Vodlemoll Kakoda ground on Tuesday. Nigel Fernandes scored the opening goal for Dramapur in the 19th minute. Six minutes later, Uguem's Pratamesh Gaonkar netted the equaliser. Dramapur Sports Club found the winning goal in the 59th minute through Hayden Cardozo.
Sedroy strikes 4 times in Navelim SC victory
MARGAO: Navelim Sporting Club drubbed Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna 5-1 to head into the quarterfinal of the 31st St Rock Super Soccer at Calata Majorda ground on Tuesday. Andrew opened the scoreline for Rossman in the 5th minute. In the second half, Prestly equalised for Navelim in the 50th minute. Navelim continued to mount pressure and attack which saw Sedroy Colaco net four goals in the 54th, 56th, 59th and 64th minutes respectively to put on a striking display.
