The Goa Football Association (GFA) has fined and suspendeda player and coach for improper conduct.
An enquiry was held in two assault cases by the Disciplinary Committee consisting of Pramod Kamat-Chairman (Retd Addl Sessions Judge), Abigail E Fernandes- Dy Chairperson, Francis D’Souza-Member and Albert Pinheiro-Member have passed the following two Orders.
In the first incident, a player in the Sateri Sports Club vs Ronit Sports Club match held on February 15 manhandled the referee after abusing and threatening him for receiving a red card.
In the second incident, during the GPL match between Velsao SCC and Vasco Sports Club on March 29, a coach was found using filthy language after being shown a red card. The coach also allegedly threw water bottles at the referee and further ran towards him and slapped him in his face.
