Goa Legends defeated Bengal Legends 7-5 on aggregate. Bengal Legends came from behind to hold Goa Legends 3-3, in the second football exhibition match played at Rajat Ground, Kolkata on Tuesday. In the first leg played on Sunday, Goa Legends defeated Bengal Legends 4-2.
Goa Legends started the game on a positive note when former India captain Bruno Coutinho unleashing a stiff shot crashed into the net. Cavin Lobo increased the tally. Spurred by the 2-0 cushion, Goa Legends slackened their pace and allowed their opponents to maneuver inside their penalty area. Ashim Biswas reduced the margin late in the first half. Clifford Miranda put the issue beyond doubt while Bhaichung Bhutia wiped out the deficit with time running out and match drifting towards Goa legends. Rahim Nabi equalised in the dying minute of the game.
