Kala Academy will organise its annual Prize Distribution Function of Marathi Drama Competition ‘A’ & ‘B’ Group, Konkani Drama Competition, State Art Exhibition (Artists and Students category), Tiatr Competition ‘A’ Group on May 21 at 4 pm at Master Dattaram Sabhagruha, Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda. Govind Gaude, Minister for Art and Culture & Chairman of Kala Academy Goa will be the Chief Guest whereas Vijay Kenkre, renowned theatre personality will be the Guest of Honour for the function. The Prize Distribution Function will be followed by a Drama ‘Palshetchi Vihir’, a first prize winning play of Maharashtra State Drama Competition in the year 2019-20 by Rudreshwar, Panaji. The said drama is written and directed by Vijaykumar Naik and Prof Deepak Amonkar. Kala Academy has appealed to all the prize winners and art lovers to attend the function in large numbers which is open to all.
