Rebello showed off his great skills while playing for Odisha FC under coach Sergio Lobera this year. Now, he's getting ready to join Punjab FC for the next season.
Early Start:
Princeton Rebello's love for football started when he was just four years old in Betalbatim, Goa. He played with other kids in his neighborhood and caught the eye of coach Eban Mesquita during an under-8 tournament. That's how he joined Velsao Pale Sports Club. His talent shone bright, and he even got the title of Emerging Player of the Tournament during an under-13 event. Coaches like Armando Colaco noticed his skills.
Playing Abroad:
Rebello went to England to join Queens Park Rangers' under-15 squad in July 2014. But after six months, he felt his heart was still in India. He turned down an offer from Watford's academy because he wanted to keep his Indian citizenship.
Indian Super League Debut:
Rebello made his debut in the Indian Super League in April 2017 when he joined Goa's developmental squad. He played his first match on 23rd October 2019, helping Goa win 3-0 against Chennaiyin.
Punjab FC Move:
Now, Rebello is getting ready for a new adventure with Punjab FC. He's excited to show off his skills and help the team succeed in the Indian Super League.
