Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem won the Quepem Taluka U-14 boys table tennis championship, defeating Smt CT Naik High School, Curchorem 3-1.
In the first singles match, Arya Anish Anil beat Ashlesh Naik 11-4, 11-4, 11-7, while in the second match, Smt CTN's Sundaram Thakur beat Martins Levi 11-7, 11-5, 11-4. In the third singles match, Guardian Angel's Xylan R Louis beat Sayyad Chapparband 11-6, 11-5, 11-5. In the reverse singles, Arya Anish Anil defeated Sundaram Thakur 12-10, 11-6, 11-7.
Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem won the third place. The tournament was organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at sports complex, Borimoll, Quepem.
