The Goan Hockey will be conducting trials to select players to represent Goa at the 37th National Games, which will be held in the State from October 25 to November 9. The trials will be held at Fatorda Grounds on July 29 at 4 pm for both men and women category. All the players interested may report near the Handball court at PJN Fatorda stadium. Men should report to Benny Visvas and women to Farrell Furtado, Gen Secretary, Goan Hockey.
The Association of Goa Wushu will conduct selection of players to participate in the National Games 2023 to be held in Goa. Trials will be held in Sanshou (sparring) and Taolu (routine bare hands, short and long weapons). Players of any martial art background, flexible body stunt performers and gymnasts can participate for the trials to be held on July 30 at Indoor Stadium, Campal, Panaji, from 9 am to 12 pm. Men and women 18 to 40 years of age can take part in sanshou and 16 to 40 years old can take part in Taolu. The selection will be done under the guidance of Paulo Killman Fernandes and NS NIS coaches of Wushu Association of India. Players must produce their Aadhar card and birth certificate copy.
