The athletes from the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) in Goa have done well in various sports tournaments. The athletes have produced good results in swimming, badminton, and table tennis in recent tournaments.
The KISCE swimming team has shown an impressive performance at the Junior and Sub-Junior State Aquatics Championship 2023, bagging 72 gold medals, 31 silver medals, and 15 bronze medals. The table tennis contingent at KISCE proved their mettle in two tournaments, securing nine gold medals, five silver medals, and six bronze medals at the 7th YMCA All Goa Major Ranking TT Tournament, and six gold medals and eight silver medals at the Rotary Club All Goa Major Ranking TT Tournament.
Meanwhile, KISCE's badminton players set the court ablaze at the State Badminton Ranking Tournament and the BPS State Badminton Ranking Tournament, clinching a total of 15 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 30 bronze medals.
The players are undergoing training under coaches Sujith TA (swimming), Opendra Singh (table tennis), and Irfan Khan (badminton), who have played a crucial role in nurturing their talents.
