Likson Rebello's four goals blitz helped FC Goa drub Vasco Sports Club 5-0 in the GFA Professional League, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Thursday.
FC Goa dominated the game right from the word go and pushed their opponent on the back foot. FC Goa's breakthrough came in the 21st minute when Likson Rebello found the roof of the net.
Spurred by the success, FC Goa raised the tempo and in the 43rd minute again Likson Rebello struck second time to register his brace.
Crossing over, FC Goa continued in same vein as they attacked from both the flanks. In the 52nd minute, Lickson Rebello who was in thick action scored a hat-trick keeping Vasco goalkeeper Naba Kumar dazed FC Goa did not lose appetite for more goals as Lickson Rebello scored his fourth goal in the 55th minute.
At the other end, Vasco Sports Club did not exert pressure on the rival citadel and meekly surrendered their challenge without giving a fight.
FC Goa who were dominant throughout the match and rounded off the tally when substitute Lalthang lian slotted past the rival goalkeeper with snap shot in the 66th minute.
