Mandopa Sporting Club registered a commanding 3-0 victory over St Anthony Club Colva to book their place in the quarterfinals of the Assumpta Cup 2026 at the Sarzora Football Ground on Saturday.
Mandopa SC wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Velington Almeida opening the scoring in the 7th minute. The early breakthrough set the tone for the match as Mandopa continued their attacking momentum.
They quickly extended their lead through Nash Pereira in the 10th minute, followed by another goal from Jadroy Costa in the 15th minute, taking the scoreline to 3-0 within the first quarter of an hour.
Despite efforts from St Anthony Club Colva to respond, Mandopa’s solid performance ensured they maintained their clean sheet and comfortably secured progression to the next round.
The Man of the Match award was presented to Riston Gomes by Marien Caido.
