The late Musa Ali Aga Memorial football tournament, organised by the Eagle Sports Club will begin from April 25, at the Sankhali Municipal ground and this competition will continue till May 19.
Addressing the media, President Prashant Phatarpekar, Shikur Aga, Sandeep Kanekar informed thay 16 major teams from Goa will be participating. A cash prize of Rs 77,777 will be awarded to the winning team while the runners-up will have to be content with Rs 55,555. Also, Rs 11,111 as well as trophies and individual prizes will be given to the losing team in the semi-finals. The matches will be held at 4:30 pm.
The club officials also informed that the Eagle Club is celebrating its golden jubilee and various sports and service activities will be implemented throughout the year.
