Rossman Cruz Nagoa scored a solitary goal over Fr Agnelo YSC to move into the quarterfinals of Varca Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by Varca Sports Club on Tuesday. In the first half, Rossman Cruz Nagao led 1-0. In the 18th minute, a neat pass from Andrus John was neatly placed by Roydon Rego into the far corner of the net giving no chance for Pravesh Borker under the bar. Down by a goal Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda tried hard to equalise but Shelton Fernandes missed an open chance. Roydon Rego of Rossman Cruz Nagoa was adjudged the man of the match. Rossman Cruz Nagoa will meet Varca Sports Club in the quarterfinals.
