Sanjana Prabhugaonker won a silver and two bronze medals for Team India, at the ongoing BIMSTEC Aquatics Sports Championship 2024, being held at New Delhi’s Dr Shyama Prasad Mukhkerjee swimming pool complex, Talkatora from February 6 to 9, featuring competitions in swimming, water polo and diving for athletes under 20 years old.
Sanjana, on third day representing India bagged one silver medal in 200 meters backstroke. On first day she got her first bronze medal in 100 metres back stroke with Palak Joshi (India) getting gold and Chayapapansuwan (Thailand) getting silver. Sanjana, on second day, got her second bronze medal in 50 metres back stroke with Palak Joshi (India) getting gold and chayapapansuwan (Thailand) getting silver.
