St Anthony HS registered a solitary goal win over Shri K B Vidyalaya, Pansulem and moved into the semi final of the Canacona U-12 Boys inter-school football tournament, at Devabag, on Tuesday.
St.Anthony netted the only goal in the 15th minute. KB Vidyalaya tried to get back in the game but their strikers fumbled with the chances that were created by their teammates.
In the second match, St Anne's Institute, Agonda defeated Government Sadolshem 2-0 and moved into the semi-finals.
St.Anne's netted the first goal through Schmelzer Fernandes in the 32nd minute. Sachin Biswas netted the second goal in the 35th minute. Both the teams qualified for the semifinals which will be played on February 20.
