St Sebastian Marna emerged champions of the All Goa 7-a-side Milagres Cup organised by Morjim Sports Club (Dubai) at Shabab Al Ahli Ground, Dubai -UAE recently.
They defeated FC Siolim White while Sirlim SC and Morjim Sports Club (Dubai) had to settle for the third and fourth places.
The individual awards are as follows: Best Discipline team: FC Siolim Blue; Player of the Tournament: Tarshish Lainez (Morjim Sports Club), Best Goalkeeper: Dalwin Costa (FC Siolim White), Best Defender: Stephen Martins (FC Siolim White) Best Midfielder: Remedios Vaz (St. Sebastian Marna).
A 2-a-side tie-breaker for men and women tie-breaker (singles). In the men category, Rayan Menezes & Max Colaco were the winner and runner-up were Anson Lobo & Veldon D'souza. In women category, Angelina Colaco was the winner and runner-Up was Veena Rodrigues.
David Desouza (Ex-Dempo Player & Santosh Trophy Winner 1986) was the chief guest, Nelson Silveira (United UAE Goans “ President) were the Guest of Honor & Gajanan Kerkar (Calangute Football Association “ Secretary & Ex-GFA Member) was a special guest.
A total of 16 teams participated in this tournament.
